In the words of Ralphie of the Christmas Story: Oh Fuuuuuudge!

Last night, in a last ditch effort to save US, Senator Jim DeMint went down to the floor of the Senate and made a motion to suspend the rules of the Senate to allow the insertion of one more amendment into the health care legislation. His amendment? A prohibition on cash for cloture.
The roll call vote that changed our democratic nation into a socialist nation. This last ditch effort failed last night, but DeMint is still my hero and Nelson proved himself to be a 'sunshine patriot'. ("THESE are the times that try men's souls. The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of their country"- Thomas Paine)

So I woke up this morning and got just what I expected: a lump of coal from my government who's supposed to protect and stand up for me. Like thief in the night the Senate has slipped into your home to steal away your freedoms.

With that said let us remember that no matter how things get we will always have hope, we can always petition for assistance.




This is the magic of the season; the Christ child, if we let him in, will always represent hope. The Spirit of Christmas illuminates the picture window for the soul. To catch the real meaning of the spirit of christmas we need only drop the last sylllable and it becomes the spirit of Christ, Merry Christmas!

Senate Celebrates Stalins Birthday With Cloture While the American People Get Nuttin' For Christmas.

Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus and it appears that since he has a few hundred million of my dollars lying around, Harry Reid, can play Santa Claus too. Well at least Santa Claus with kick-backs or as Michelle Malkin calls it 'Cash for Cloture'.

The most heinious acts are accomplished in the middle of the night. If you look back in history the majority of evil occurs when the sun goes down. It's easier to hide secret acts in the dark. So it comes as no surprise that in the dead of night roll was called just after 1 a.m. in the Senate for a test vote on the health care bill- it passed.

"Make no mistake: If the people who wrote this bill were proud of it, they wouldn't be forcing this vote in the dead of night," argued Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Kentucky.

I am so angry, I feel like I want to fly down to D.C. this very minute. Senator Reid pulled out every bribe he could to get the numbers he was looking for to pass this bill on upcoming Thursday. He made every payoff imaginable to get his 60 votes.

Ben Nelson of Nebraska having a provision added to the bill requiring the federal government to cover a special Medicaid expansion subsidy that will initially cost an estimated $100 million. To a $100 million item for construction of a university hospital being inserted in the Senate health care bill at the request of Sen. Christopher Dodd, D-Conn., who as his office acknowledges faces a difficult re-election campaign (at least we have that going for us).

We should ALL be up in arms over the underhandedness of our supposed representatives. The week started out with sneaky Sunday then on to masked Monday. Maybe tomorrow will bring totally obliterate the Constitution Tuesday. We're not far off folks. Something has to be done and since the news isn't reporting this as anything but a gift from our dear government it's up to you to get the word out to the people.
