Democracy will not be Boiled by Barack or his Cohorts!

I'm back from a very successful tour with the Tea Party Express and I received a very strange forwarded email from a stranger to a group list I've never seen before. I would like to share it with each of you.

This letter is insane. It is really crazy written by someone who is not dealing with a full deck. Please remove me from your distribution list. I don't know who you are or how you got my email. I am so grateful Obama is our President and not some irrational crazy like the person who wrote this letter.

Now, I know neither Anna Marie nor Francene Amari-Faulkner. But I do know if I'm on a list somewhere where opinions need to be shared... well I've got to share mine too. Here was my reply:

It's funny you forwarded this nonsensical email to ME since I don't know who you are just as you don't know Anna Marie. But if you feel you have rights to send me your opinion... I must then take the same right. Though I haven't the time to read the email that Anna Marie sent to you (whom I also don't know), I will reply to all on your list you've added and add a comment to your comment.

I too am grateful that Obama is our President. For the past 60 years our country has been slipping into a socialistic society where the People are encouraged to get and demand what they haven't worked for. A similar phenomenon occurred before the fall of the Roman Empire. It was called a time of bread and circuses. Where the government gave out free wheat and held free shows to make the people lethargic and complacent enough to wield their liberties over to the government.

If you understand the story of 'How to Boil a Frog', you will then understand why I feel that Obama is the best thing to happen to this country. You boil a frog by turning the heat up slowly so that he will become accustomed to the rising temperature and not notice he's being cooked. Our Constitution and citizens were being cooked in a similar way. But along came Barrack Obama who through his own ego felt he could usher in all the socialist programs he wanted because of his popularity. He strayed from the plan of a slow boil and turned up the heat full blast. I thank God for his narcissistic techniques because the sleeping giant of America has been awoken. We will not be boiled... we will no longer take this tyranny of taxation and deep reaching regulation. We will take our country back starting this next election in 2010 and then cutting away deeper in 2012 at the sucking leeches who have clamped onto our democracy and have been sucking the life out of our Constitution and the People's pocket books.
 Please pass on the good word that our President has ushered in change. A change in attitude toward our hand in government. A rejuvenation of our pride to be American. A revolution to bring back the foundation of our country and to foster in a new era of personal responsibility and pride in ourselves, our community and our country. Send this email out to all you know so that ALL may know of the good our next one-term President has accomplished!!

I am always surprised to find people who have a foundationless good opinion of people in government trying to lead our country astray. With the Tea Party Express I have found a movement of the People who are willing to put it all on the line to get our country back on track.
